On the agenda

  • Nov. 18 '26, 01:30pm Conversation Offset Bar

Space law is racing to keep pace with a fast-moving industry. In this fireside chat, Kevin Pomfret joins us to unpack where the rules stand, where they're still being written, and what that means for anyone working with commercial and geospatial data. Expect a candid, wide-ranging conversation on where the law is headed, and what it means for everyone building on satellite data today.

  • Common Space Product Architecture Roundtable

    Nov. 19 '26, 09:00am Workshop Council Room

Common Space is building a new kind of Earth observation infrastructure: high-resolution satellite imagery designed from the ground up as a shared resource for public good. In this interactive workshop, we’ll share our initial product architecture and invite the SatSummit community to help shape what comes next. Participants will pressure-test how users discover, task, access, analyze, and share imagery; explore workflows for emergencies and proactive collection; and identify where tools, APIs, AI, alerts, and integrations could make the greatest difference. Rather than presenting a finished product, we’ll bring early designs, assumptions, and open questions to the room. The goal is to leave with a clearer understanding of what Common Space should build, what it should integrate with rather than reinvent, and what a truly community-centered satellite data platform needs to work in the real world.

Workshop space is limited. Sign-up will happen in-person when you check in for the conference.
