This November, SatSummit heads to St. Louis for the first time.

For nearly a decade, SatSummit has brought together the people building the future of Earth observation with the organizations putting satellite data to work on some of the world's biggest challenges. From climate resilience and agriculture to humanitarian response, national security, and global development, SatSummit is where technical innovation meets real-world decision making.

As one of the fastest-growing geospatial hubs in the United States, the city has built an ecosystem that spans research institutions, government, startups, established companies, and mission-driven organizations. With local hosts Common Space and Taylor Geospatial joining original convener Development Seed, we're excited to bring the SatSummit community to a city that is helping shape the future of geospatial technology.

A community at an inflection point

This year's conversations will reflect the questions many of us are already wrestling with.

How is AI changing Earth observation, and where is the real value beyond the hype? What happens as commercial and defense applications become increasingly intertwined? How do funding shifts affect humanitarian and climate work? How should the community think about openness, trust, accountability, and the future of satellite data?

SatSummit has always been known for candid discussions that go beyond product announcements and marketing. We bring together people with different perspectives because the most important conversations happen when technology, policy, research, and operational users are all in the same room.

Why sponsor?

SatSummit is a community event. The organizers do not make a profit from the conference, and sponsorships directly support making the event possible.

Sponsors gain the opportunity to connect with an audience that includes:

  • Earth observation experts
  • Government agencies
  • Humanitarian and international development organizations
  • Climate practitioners
  • Researchers and academics
  • Industry founders and technology leaders

Just as importantly, sponsors become part of the conversations shaping where our industry is headed.

Previous SatSummit sponsors have included organizations such as AWS, Esri, Planet, NASA, Element 84, Capella Space, Radiant Earth Foundation, Umbra, PLACE, Picterra, Cyient, DevGlobal, World Bank Group, ESA, and many others.

We offer Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsorship packages designed for organizations of different sizes, along with opportunities to discuss custom sponsorship ideas.

Benefits include conference registrations, exhibit space, event visibility, social media promotion, and opportunities to connect with attendees throughout the event. Gold sponsors also receive the opportunity to help shape a breakout session topic in collaboration with the organizing team.

If your organization wants to support meaningful conversations around the future of Earth observation while connecting with leaders across the satellite ecosystem, we'd love to hear from you.
