Jonas is a product manager at Development Seed, coordinating the company’s contribution to major Earth data distribution and analysis platforms in the NASA VEDA project, ESA EOEPCA+, and UK EO Data Hub.
Jonas draws on experience leading teams in environmental consultancy and software engineering. As an engineering manager with developer experience, he has deep insight into geospatial data technologies and experience with a wide range of remote sensing data products and applications. From his background in academic research within climate modeling and oceanography, he has an understanding of the potential of bringing together industry-standard engineering and science for opening up science to wider participation.
