Andreas Schlueter is a Senior AI Researcher at Jua.ai, where he is working on the development of AI-based weather forecasts. As an experienced researcher with a PhD in Atmospheric Physics, he is excited about the paradigm shift in meteorology from numerical to data-driven weather forecasts. In his previous role as a Schmidt Science Fellow at Stanford’s AI Lab, he worked on AI applications using satellite data. Andreas is also co-founder and scientific advisor of Flamingoo Foods, a startup leveraging weather forecasts and satellite imagery to combat food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa.
