Patrick Keown is the Program Manager for the NOAA Open Data Dissemination Program (NODD). Patrick has been with NODD since 2020 and joined OCIO permanently in March 2022. Patrick started his career at NOAA in the National Ocean Service’s Office of Coast Survey (OCS) where he worked as a Project Manager for the Hydrographic Survey Division and served as the Office of Coast Survey (OCS) Geospatial Program Manager. Prior to joining NOAA, Patrick worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducting Hydrographic Surveys of the Inland Waterways and performing GIS analysis for Emergency Management Operations. Patrick has a B.S. in Geography from Western Kentucky University. His tenure includes over 15 years of combined experience in Program Management, Project Management, GIS, and Hydrography with the NOAA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
